ICC - National Heart Failure Registry (A registry for acute decompensated heart failure patients in India) September 1, 2019 onwards
Study Aim The aim was to enrol 5,000 patients across India from a mix of private and government care providers. Enrolment came from 22 centres located in 12 states in 4 zones (South, North, East and North East, West and Central).
The central coordinator coordinated the training, participation and enrolment of patients in the registry with the help of site coordinators. The site co-investigator supervised and facilitated data entry and follow up of this site. Quality of data: Since the successof this phase of the study was dependent on the quality of data entry, the site coordinator worked closely with the physician or ICU nurse to ensure this.
The aim is to continue patient enrolment across India from a mix of private and government care providers. Enrolment will come from 12 centres located in 07 States in 03 zones (South, North and East).
The central coordinator will continue to coordinate the training, participation and enrolment of patients in the registry with the help of site coordinators.
The site co-investigatorwill supervise and facilitate data entry and follow up of this site. Quality of data: the site coordinator will work closely with the physician or ICU nurse to ensure this.

Time Perspective Twenty Two (22) centres from different regions were enrolled in the study to achieve a national footprint as indicated under Participating Centres. The CTRI Phase is starting with 12 centres as indicated under Participating Centres and may be expanded.
