Founded in 1994 and based in Bangalore, ICC is a non-profit organization that conducts academic meetings, Continuing Medical Education (CME) Courses and public education programs all over India on a regular basis.

| Study Aim | The aim was to enrol 5,000 patients across India from a mix of private and government care providers. Enrolment came from 22 centres located in 12 states in 4 zones (South, North, East and North East, West and Central). The central coordinator coordinated the training, participation and enrolment of patients in the registry with the help of site coordinators. The site co-investigator supervised and facilitated data entry and follow up of this site. Quality of data: Since the successof this phase of the study was dependent on the quality of data entry, the site coordinator worked closely with the physician or ICU nurse to ensure this. |
The aim is to continue patient enrolment across India from a mix of private and government care providers. Enrolment will come from 12 centres located in 07 States in 03 zones (South, North and East). The central coordinator will continue to coordinate the training, participation and enrolment of patients in the registry with the help of site coordinators. The site co-investigatorwill supervise and facilitate data entry and follow up of this site. Quality of data: the site coordinator will work closely with the physician or ICU nurse to ensure this. |
